There's nothing more fun than taking a pretty good photo and making it better - unless

it's making a ho-hum photo great! I usually open the photo in Camera Raw, make some adjustments to tone and clarity, and then open in Photoshop for further editing.

BUBBLES- Opened in Camera Raw; used Photoshop to blur the background, sharpen details and warm up the image; traced over bubble trail to heighten contrast with background.

GLASS -Opened in Camera Raw; removed light fixture, enriched color of glass; made details sharper.

bathing beauty after

SWIMMER - Scanned image; converted old photo to black and white, blurred background and sharpened foreground; increased contrast.
